STUART DURRANT
Stuart has been a member of CATS since 1993, where he went through a phase of playing fairies in pantomimes! It was good fairies in "Cinderella" and bad fairies in "Sleeping Beauty". And he has also developed a track record for playing Butlers, having been Guest, the butler in "Inspector Drake's Last Case"; and Boris, the werewolf, in "Dracula the Panto". As Boris the werewolf, Stuart got to sing his fair share of songs, including "Monster Mash," and a trio with Steak and Kidney of the Paul Young hit, 'Love is in the air.' He has also played Bunting, the butler, in "Murdered to Death", In addition to his acting career with CATS, Stuart has also done the cast's make up for more shows that we can remember! And if you thought that was enough, Stuart got another chance to show off his singing talent at the CATS Talent Night. He performs all the great hits - anyone from Doris Day to Dusty Springfield - nothing is too much. Stuart also took part in the Crowthorne Carnival Procession in 2002 as Baby Jane's sister, Blanche; he wore a blond wig, blue frock and was the most comfortable member of the procession, as he was pushed for the entire route in a wheelchair! |
