SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARVES by Jon Keen

27th-30th November 1997 - Crowthorne Parish Hall

Nick and Jo poring over the script

The 1997 pantomime was Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. It was written in 1991 by Jon Keen and performed by CATS in November of that year. It has since been performed by the Binfield Bards and more recently by a group in Canada that discovered it's availability on this web page.

Jon rewrote it for the 1997 production in order to update some of the topical jokes and reduce it's length (It originally rivaled War and Peace for length, and now rivals Lord of the Rings).

The music for this show was specially recorded by the CATS band (pictured right). It consists of Mark Chapman, Adam Newland and Terry Daly with Lesley Ingledew on backing vocals and tea making.
