KIM EDWARDS
Kim joined CATS when she was all of 17 and battling with A-Levels, of which theatre studies was one, and very impressively, she did her work experience at Windsor Theatre. Kim has performed in a mixture of plays and pantomimes, her first production being Lobelia in "Sleeping Beauty." Her other pantomime credits include "Aladdin," "Snow White," "Dick Whittington" and "Dracula the Panto." In "Dick Whittington" Kim expanded on her CATS career by choreographing the dance and song routines with another member of the society, as well as being production secretary. She has also won a best CATS Oscar for a cameo role as a member of the adult chorus. Kim's other plays include "Inspector Drake's Last Case" where she played Mary, the Vicar's Daughter, "Bad Hair Day," "Farndale...Macbeth" and "Down with Demon Drink" as well as a walk-on part right at the end of "A Chorus of Dispproval". She played the Principal Girl in "Dracula" where she got to wear the same outfit as the one in "Down with Demon Drink"! As well as being involved in shows, Kim has also been a member of the CATS Committee. Her hobbies involve almost every kind of sporting activity known to man; aerobics, badminton, ice-skating, netball and basketball, although more often than not she can be found nursing a coke in the pub! |
