THE GHOST TRAIN by Arnold Ridley

29th April-1st May 1999 - Crowthorne Parish Hall

The Ghost Train is the first (and best-known) play written by Arnold Ridley, who later appeared as Private Godfrey in Dad's Army. First presented in London on 23rd November 1925, it has since been produced all over the world and made into a film on more than one occasion.

The production was a departure for CATS in that it is a thriller rather than comedy. It is a great story with a wonderful collection of characters - and like all good thrillers, there is a twist in the tail. It is a popular play wherever it is produced and we got full houses.
